Hi @Roger_Lujan,

We’re sorry to hear you’re facing these issues.

First, login to your Roon account in a web browser and double-check that your account credentials are secure. We recommend changing your Roon password if your computer was in any way compromised.

Next, double-check that Roon is still added as a safelist item in the Microsoft Defender firewall.

If you’re still having issues, let us know. Do you have a Backup of your Roon database? If so, you can simply deeply uninstall the database by following these steps:

Let’s try a fresh database and see if your issues persist:

  • Exit out of Roon + RoonServer (from taskbar area)
  • Navigate to your Roon Database Location
  • Find the folder that says “Roon Server” and “Roon”
  • Rename the “RoonServer” folder to “RoonServer_old” and “Roon” to “Roon_old”
  • Reinstall the Roon App from our Downloads Page to generate a new Roon folder
  • Verify if the issue persists on a fresh database before restoring the backup

Let us know if this helps. We’ll watch for your response.

i resolved the issue. it was the windows smart app. i just disabled it and then everything was fine. thnx for your help

Hello @Roger_Lujan,

That is fantastic news! Thank you for letting us know that Windows Smart App Control was the culprit.

Since you are back up and running, we will proceed to close this thread. We hope you enjoy getting back to your music!
