The sonicTransporter i5 runs Roon Core Server, HQPlayer (embedded), Squeezebox Server, Plex Media Server and MinimServer (DLNA server).

Was able to get it resolved by reinstalling roon on my ipad.

You probably ended up updating the roon client which is what was likely the issue
