Description of Issue

I am unable to open Roon on my MacBook. I click the icon and the screen gets no further than the Roon start-up icon. This occurred for me yesterday which was the first time I had used Roon - I think - since updating the operating system to Big Sur 11.5.2.

Today there was a further update to 11.6 which I have put on the MacBook but the issue with Roon remains. No issue with any other software.

Internet signal totally ok.

Hello @JohnH ,

Thank you for sending those logs over! I do believe I see the issue here, and it is one that we have resolved in our latest release. To manually resolve this, can you please:

  • Exit out of Roon/Roon Server
  • Navigate to your Roon Database Location - Database\Registry\Core
  • Locate your tidal_account file and delete it
  • Try to start Roon again
  • Update Roon to the latest version by navigating to Roon Settings → About to prevent this issue in the future

Please let us know if this helps resolve the issue, thank you!

Done and it sorted it.

All updated, Tidal re linked and working again.

Thanks
