Roon won't open on Mac, stuck with loading animation [Resolved - Reset database]

I have experienced a problem for 3 days … The roon application does not open on my mac mini, it stays forever on the home screen with the roon logo.
I have the equipment updated to the latest version, as well as roon.
Please, what is happening?

Try renaming the Roon library, and relaunching:

  1. Open Finder and click Go in the top bar
  2. Hold down the Option key (or Alt)(⌥) to unhide the Library folder
  3. Click the Library folder
  4. Rename “Roon” folder to “Roon_old”

This will reset your library. From here you can restore a backup if you have one.

Thanks for the reply.
I’ve uninstalled roon and downloaded again, and it’s working again … now I have to reconfigure it, but it’s a lesser evil.
Thanks.

Hi @Jose_M_Galvez_Gambin

If you have a backup of your database you can restore it to recover your Roon data. I’m glad things are working for you now!
