Description of Issue

I am trying to play Roon on my PC through my Sonos system. Roon recognizes the system but loses control before any sound comes out. It doesn’t work in any room and has never worked since I first installed Roon.

It doesn’t work on music stored on the PC’s my hard drive or on my network storage.

Hello @John_Kilcullen and a belated welcome to the Roon community

I am sorry that this greeting is happening this late and because of a problem…if this is still happening, we’d love to help .

Since this happened, did you get a chance to:

  • update your Sonos devices to the latest firmware
  • reboot the Sonos devices
  • reboot your Core

By rebooting I mean:

  • hold down the power button until the device is turned off
  • unplug for a couple of minutes
  • plug back in
  • turn on again

Thanks in advance
