Thanks for writing in and for sharing your report! Based on your account admin, it looks like your Roon Server, running on your windows 11 machine appears to be active and online, which is good news!
Looking at your Roon remote devices, the first thing I’d check to see is if all your Roon devices are running on the same local subnet within your local network.
You can learn more about this and how to check your subnets here:
Once you can confirm all your devices share the same subnet, and if you’re still having issues, the next thing I’d investigate is your PC / macOS firewalls.
If you temporarily disable them, are you able to connect?
· I asked this question a few days ago and have not received any helpful information. I installed the update you recommended and Roon will no longer work on my system. I get an error that Roon requires MacOS12. I run an old 2014 MacBook Pro with MacOS 11.7.11. Everything was fine before I ran the update you recommended. I need your help to undo this latest update. You can't tell me after I run your update that this update will crash my system. Please, help me return to a working version of Roon. I have years of work invested in this software.
You didn’t mention that it was about macOS in your previous thread…
Roon had to update some foundations and your outdated macOS does not support these anymore, because it is end-of-life by Apple.
You can temporarily reinstall Roon version 2.64, which works with your outdated macOS. The download link is in the release notes:
You will then need to make sure to deactivate automatic updates in Roon Settings > About.
Then make sure you have a safe Roon database backup on a different device (such as an external USB drive).
Going forward, you need macOS 12 (Monterey), but most old Intel Macs that don’t get the update from Apple can easily be updated with Open Core Legacy Patcher (OCLP):
Since the issue is regarding an old MacOS install, the advice from @Suedkiez will help you get Roon up and running again. Please let us know how it goes or if you have any difficulties.
