Roon Wont Start. Hangs at logo

Core Machine

Windows 10, Self built, AMD Threadripper 3, 128 gb ram

Description of Issue
Roon wont start all of a sudden. I cant see an update that I did that would have caused this - only thing I can think of is i cancelled Tidal since then, but I was able to open it once after I cancelled my account. Since then, I’ve updated everything in windows, frameworks, graphics drivers, intel support assistant, but that has not helped the issue. Attached are my log files:

Appreciate any help.

Hey @Matthew_W,

Thanks a lot for letting us know of the issues you ran into and the steps you’ve taken to remedy the situation. We appreciate the logs as well.

I’ve passed them on to our technical team so they can take a look and share any insights they might have.

Anything? I’ve been locked out for over a week now.

Apologies for the delay, @Matthew_W

Can you try the following?

  • Exit out of Roon/Roon Server
  • Navigate to your Roon Database Location - Database\Registry\Core
  • Locate your tidal_account file and delete it
  • Try to start Roon again

This fixed it. Thank you very much!
