RoonApp unable to find RoonServer on iMac Catalina (ref#S1MWMI)

Hi! What’s not quite right with Roon?

Tell us what's going on

· Roon Server (life long licence) is installed on my iMac (year 2013), running on macOS Catalina 10.15.7. Was running perfectly for years. From one day to the other, the RoonApp does not find the RoonServer anymore. When I open the App it says "you cannot run on more than two servers". What shall I do?

Hi,

Sometimes Roon licensing server gets confused and thinks the current Roon Server is an additional different installation.

Just press the unauthorise icon, it’s quite safe, and then login as normal.

Hi @oliverzucker,

@Carl’s assessment is almost certainly correct in this case. Please simply try unauthorizing the server and reauthorizing - this won’t affect your Roon database and there’s no risk that you’ll lose your music/settings.
