Roonappliance prevents windows 10 PC to Switch to Standby

Core Machine
Windows 10 64 Bit Home/Roon 1.7 Build 511.

Network Details
Fritz Box 7490 with WiFi Bridge to Ethernet.

Audio Devices
Pioneer SC LX 73 via Ethernet and LUMIN T2 via Ethernet.

Description Of Issue
The Windows PC Running Roon Server does not reliable switch to standby.
The command powercfg —ENERGY lists roonapliance preventing standby.

Sometimes it helps to empty the queue. A restart of roon Server solves the Issue always.

Thanks for the report @Christian_Fuchs, unfortunately, this is a known issue and we have an open report in our bugtracking system. I cannot specify the timeframe of the fix, but our developers will take a look at this.

Sorry for troubles!

It would really be nice if my Windows system could enter standby. I am using it as a DVR and Roon server but it has been running constantly since I installed Roon.

Roonappliance.exe is keeping my windows 10 pc awake, 12 hours after I finished listening to music.
To the best of my knowledge, I don’t have any active end-points at this time.

I really need my PC to be able to sleep when not in use so I’m currently having to run a scheduled task at 3am to kill and restart roon (if the PC is still awake at this time) so that the PC can then go to sleep.

C:\WINDOWS\system32>powercfg -requests
DISPLAY:
None.

SYSTEM:
[PROCESS] \Device\HarddiskVolume2\Users\htpc\AppData\Local\Roonserver\Application\RoonAppliance.exe
