Roonid in exported Tags

I was wondering what the Roonid in exported tags was for. Every exported music title has a unique Roon ID. Why?

It’s the track’s identifier within your Roon database.

Putting it in there gives us a little bit more information to work with when deduplicating files in exported folders, or recognizing situations when you re-import previously exported files, since using that ID, the Roon core can recognize files that it has seen before in another context.

This ID is not meaningful outside the context of your personal Roon Database and can not be used to identify where or from whom files came from (say if they were passed around) and we don’t hold these IDs in our cloud services.
