I’m working in an office that doesn’t allow non-secure traffic out, for security reasons.
The problem is not all of the links in roonlabs.com are compliant, but if I change them manually they work.
I couldn’t reach directly from roonlabs.com. If I searched Google and opened the page directly it worked.
If try to download the installer from the download page I get this link:
http://download.roonlabs.com/builds/RoonInstaller64.exe
Which doesn’t work, as it’s not an https link. If I change the link manually I can download the installer.
I had to download the installer in the first place as my core couldn’t download the update itself as it couldn’t reach the site. Could it be that the core accesses an HTTP site and not an HTTPS site?
