Writing at the time of B279 but I don’t think this is new. Just some idle thoughts:
The web UI helpfully lists the partitions on my attached drive and has the new check & repair options, but both partitions are listed with the same size (which is the drive size and not the partition size) and with equal labels, although the partitions are substantially different:
- IIRC sdb1 is the drive’s default EFI partition (which I didn’t bother to delete and on modern drives this may be the norm, as the EFI partition also contains stuff like drive icons and utility programs, which users may want to keep).
- sdb2 is the actual data partition
This might be confusing for some users, in particular with external music storage drives (while my drive is just for backups).
The fact that each partition has its own eject button is also a bit weird. Technically, you can of course unmount a single partition, but in the context of RoonOS users will probably want to unmount all partitions before removing the drive. If the goal is to prevent unclean removals, maybe there should only be one button per drive to avoid mishaps?
