Roon's functionality in the Dominican Republic inquiry (ref#NK0OUK)

Hi! What’s not quite right with Roon?

· None of the above quite fits

None of the above quite fits

· None of these quite match

Tell us what's going on

· Will Roon work overseas in the Dominican Republic

Tell us about your home network

· Not applicable

It should work anywhere as long as an internet connection is available at least for Roon to do a license check (I think about every 30 days?). Someone please correct me if I’m wrong.

Regarding music streaming service integration, I see Tidal is available in the Dominican Republic, however, Qobuz is not.

Normally this only means that you can’t subscribe from this country. It doesn’t prevent it from working for subscribers traveling from other countries.

Good day @Paul_Clarke !

Roon itself is worldwide available with no blacklisted countries.

However, Tidal and Qobuz might not be available for your country and this is the subject to clarify with them.

But as of now even if you cannot purchase a subcscription for streaming from your place Roon still allows connecting existing one without a problem.

So as long as your desired streaming service works (if you use any) you should be good to go.

Regards!
