Roon's handling of MQA tracks

I have Roon set to ‘prefer MQA’. My question is this: does this make Roon specifically search for MQA or does Roon just pick the MQA track if it is available? I want Roon to search my genre and play the MQA if it is available, not to specifically search for MQA

If you set prefer MQA Roon will search for all versions and show you the MQA version if there is one available if not it will show you whatever other format is available.
