I’m having issues with my remotes loosing connection to RoonServer, which is installed on Ubuntu 12.04 as a VM running on Virtualization station on my QNAP TVS-671. One first installation, things seem to work fine. However, as time passes it becomes increasingly difficult to connect. And Now I can’t connect, even on reboots. I’ve been testing on my Macboo Pro, but I experience the same on all remotes. While experiencing this, I can ping RoonServer, and ping my Macbook from RoonServer, without issues.
I have given RoonServer a static IP, outside of my routers DHCP range, to make sure there is no IP conflict. 10.0.0.59 is my Macbook, and .20 is the IP of my NAS. Below are the logs, when I attempt to start Roon Remote on the Macbook:
