· Roon on QNAP can’t find my home library, just TIDAL. ( @crieke can probably help with this but others may be able to as well) Since moving Roonserver to container station, Roon no longer sees my home music library, only TIDAL albums. If I search for an album I’ve previously uploaded from CD to QNAP, nothing shows up.
I first noticed this because all the downloads on Roon ARC on my iPhone have disappeared--I don’t even see a category for downloads.
My system: Roon version 2.67 (build 1661) on Samsung SSD connected by USB to QNAP TS-253A. Meridian AC200 connecting to 218 Zone Controller x2, Meridian DSP 5200.2 and DSP 3200 speakers. The system has generally worked very well since installing it in 2018!

I assume you have changed your storage location to /Music in the Roon app.
If you have, please share your docker-compose.json file and a screenshot of Roon Settings → Storage. The file path for your media files on the NAS would also be useful.
I’m now completely lost. I tried changing the storage location to /Music but kept getting an invalid folder message in the Roon app. So I thought I would try logging out of the server and logging back in. Only I can’t log back in…it’s stuck on the moving Roon logo. And no, sorry, I didn’t take a screenshot of the error messages.
I can’t seem to find “Music” on the server, but maybe I’m looking in the wrong place. (I believe all the Roon files were transferred from the old Roonserver to Container with the new configuration)
With roon running in a container, which is a closed environment for software within a folder, you cannot just choose a storage path of your liking. You must define the path to the host machine (Your NAS) as a part of creating the container. That is what the second path in docker generator is for. As you have no main folder called /Music on your machine, you must define this anyways.
Where are your music files stored? I assume under the /RoonServer volume, but what is the name of the folder mounted on this volume? It might be helpful to show a screenshot of File Station opening this particular volume, so we might suggest a path for docker.
If you have not actively moved them, this seems to be unlikely. You can leave the files where they are, it is just important to know the name of the main music folder, and check if this one is properly mounted under /RoonServer volume.
Looks like the container is healthy, but it can only see the music stored in a top-level folder named /Music, being properly mounted as a shared folder on one of your volumes.
Since your container is healthy, /Roon and /RoonBackups appear to be correct. However, it is unclear what you have set for /Music. The default in the image (/share/music) is probably incorrect for you NAS. You need to place the exact path on the NAS in this box. This probably starts with /DataVol1.
I appreciate all the assistance, but I’m still lost. I don’t see any folder labeled “Music” in the file list so I simply don’t know where my music library is.
I also can’t figure out why Roon won’t open at all after I logged out of the server. When I try to open it on my Mac (OS Tahoe 26.5.1) or my iPhone (iOS 26.5) I just get the moving Roon logo. Even clicking Roon–>Settings on the menu bar does nothing.
This might not work in most of cases, as /DataVol1 sounds like a logical name.
When you have set up your NAS, to which folder did you copy the music? You need to find that folder and insert its path as the second path in docker generator. That´s all.

You would think so, wouldn’t you? The audio dealer’s techs set up my system in 2018, and Roon always knew where to find the music library when I logged on–until the change to ContainerStation-- but I simply don’t know where it is or how to find it. I don’t even know what to search for.
The Multimedia folder contains two “Sample” mp3 files but no other music.
This is really frustrating. I consider myself to be a reasonably intelligent person, but I am thoroughly lost.
I did find some log files under RAATServer and one from 5/15 (which may have been the day I discovered RoonServer was permanently stopped and I changed to Container) ends somewhat ominously, with a lot of stuff being “destroyed”:
