Does anyone have an alternative D/L site? I’m only getting like 50kbps from the main page.
I"ve kicked my VPS. Maybe you can retry.
RoPieee has a lot of users, but the downside is that my VPS sometimes has a hard time.
Time for a proper CDN I guess…
No difference. When I originally downloaded it, it only took a few minutes to download. Now it’s at 13 hours.
that’s weird. I get about 15 MB/s…
I tested my connection and it’s fine. I tried downloading something else and it’s cooking along as well.
I really don’t get it. I’m at a steady 20+ MB/s.
Can someone else give it a shot, community folks?
Forgot to mention I’ve tried it on two computers, and tested wireless and wired.
Just checked – downloading at full speed here.
This is so weird. Like, every other download I’ve tried works just fine. I’ve rebooted my router as well.
Checked in UK - decent speed.

While streaming two movies and uploading a backup to S3. Looks okay to me.
@spockfish getting connection refused on the compressed image.
I just tried downloading the Roon client and it gave me 15mbps. So I’m not sure why the RoPieee server hates me. This doesn’t make any sense.
I can assure you I don’t hate you
Well, I guess I’m setting up the new core sometime tomorrow. -_-
Where are you located? US?
Yep. Baltimore, MD.
A friend of mine in Canada just tried and they got the same result as me.
wow. ok.
It seems that explains the difference: the other are either in the UK or in the Netherlands (just as me).
Although I’m not sure about @Martin_Webster
Hmmm that’s not good. I’ve contacted the help desk of my VPS provider.
