· ROPIEEE issue: My RoPieee is working seemingly correctly on my local network but the user endpoint is not showing in roon. See following send feedback id: 4c07c3595a181ed5
For context, I have been using my RoPieee for years. There was a power outage and since then I havent been able to find my HifiBerry in roon. I have tried to reboot roon server, rebooting the PC from which my roon core runs, rebooting my pi etc.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Best, Jelle

Diagnostics show the RoPieee abrublty stopped presenting itself to Roon Server via network discovery yesterday.
Curiously, we see connection failures all the way back in the logged set to early/mid-July. There were client-side connection failures between the broker and RoPieee after network discovery already announced them to one another. These continued right up until 7/30.
First, double-check the RoPieee’s IP address wasn’t rotated by the DHCP server after the restart and preceding outage. The Pi may hold a new lease while a stale advertisement still points to .189, or another device that booted after the outage grabbed .189.Ensure the WiFi is disabled if the unit is wired.
Next, verify that the outage didn’t default any of the settings in the Ubiquiti admin page (Access Point mode, etc). Here are our recommended settings to support Roon.
Let us know if this helps, and we’ll proceed with next steps. Thank you!
Thank you for your quick response, I appreciate it very much!
I looked into this following your suggestions, but I can’t find anything that’s obviously wrong. I did notice the IP wasn’t fixed in my router’s DHCP settings, so I made sure to change that, but it was showing the correct IP address for my RoPieee.
As I can login to my RoPieee without issues, I am at a loss to understand why Roon isn’t detecting it as endpoint user device. I created another feedback report just in case: 7d8a5bd297bd6334
I guess I should try to connect my pi using an Ethernet cable first as it’s currently working wirelessly? Would you have any other advice for me?
Did you have a chance to look into this issue? It’s still not working. I checked switching to ethernet connection and turned off the wifi. RoPieee is immediately detected on my network and assigned a new IP address. I can access RoPieee as normal and change any setting etc. However, it is not seen by roon as valid endpoint and hence not showing up. Could the HAT be the issue? I am not sure what to do.
