Ropieee loses connection after a short time or freezes

Hello Ropieee Community,

Since yesterday, I’ve been experiencing a strange issue with my Pi4 (1GB) and my Ropieee installation. The Pi either loses its Wi-Fi connection after a few minutes or completely freezes. The only thing that helps is a restart, but then the problem starts all over again after a few minutes. Everything was running perfectly for weeks before this.

To test, I tried running DietPi on an SD card, and everything works perfectly there. So, a hardware defect can be ruled out.

Does anyone have an idea of what might be causing this? Could there have been a Ropieee update that triggered this problem?

Hi,

Difficulty is that I need feedback after the hanging occurs, without rebooting…
Are you in the position to have the unit on a wired connection?
