Ropieee never works after update

For the last year or so, my Pi 4b with an Allo DigiOne HAT doesn’t work after an update. The device comes up, can get to the web UI, it shows up in Roon. But it doesn’t play anything - Roon shows the track playing, but no sound to the attached amp.

Until, usually, I unplug the Pi for 20 or 30 minutes. Then it will start playing. So it seems that it leaves the HAT in a messed up state and I have to let the capacitors discharge before anything plays again.

This is really annoying. Is there any known fix or workaround for this, short of replacing the HAT? Thanks.

Yes, I find every time after a Roopee update It no longer shows up in Roon,
If I do a reboot in Roopee it seems to come good
