Did you enable squeezebox support in Roon. Also you can’t run both LMS and Roon together as LMS with hijack it and it won’t be visible to Roon.
No, i only enabled squeezelite service on my RoPieee, so, i think it will be a new LMS device. It is recognized by LMS (i run it as Picoreplayer), but, i think, the sound activated by pCP on that device, must be audible on RoPieee, or not? Otherwise what is the meaning of the squeezelite service?
So you’re playing to it from pCP which is your LMS server?
What do you mean Roon won’t see it? As a Roon device or as a SB device?
Yes, but the device is NOT seen inside Roon, so i am unable to use it on RoPieee
Not seen as a Roon endpoint or a SB endpoint ? Ropieee needs an attached dac to it for it to be seen or a pi HAT active.
As Roon endpoint, in SB side i see it…
RoPiee has a PiHAT attached and i use daily as Roon endpoint.
Is the dac connected to it. Is it on the same subnet as your Roon server.
Yes, i repeat, RoPieee standalone works great, also as Airplay renderer
So it drops off with Squeezelite active then only?
Yes, among all the other services enabled on RoPieee, i have issue only with squeezelite.
Strange working fine for me. I guess Harry will work it out if you send him feedback from it.
You using a HAT then not a USB dac?
Ok, where i get Feedback?
Yes using an HAT

Maybe it’s locking the device then. Goto Advanced tab at bottom send feedback. Copy the id and paste it in here. Then Harry can look into it.
yes, thanks, done…
I’m confused. Why do you want to use Squeezelite within Roon?
Yes you can, (and you have to explicitly enable this server side), but imho it does not make much sense…
I was only trying to see if the roonbridge for pcp was really working… You are right, it’s a non-sense…
I immediately uninstalled that bridge.
BTW thanks for your support.
