Ok thanks for that information I will try disabling the screen as well when I am back home next week
Try disabling the extension too, without it it on the Roon side the screen/remote don’t work anyway.

Roon Support are suggesting this is entirely seperate from RoPieee as you suggested Harry.
They are saying, from the logs, that my MacBook Air ris epeatedly cycling its Roon connection, with each reconnect triggering a server-side SOOD device list refresh that stops the KitchenPi zone. I have quit Roon on the MacBook late on 8th May and since then no issues. Thanks for your help on this guys and apologies for the time involved.
Roon support have acknoledged there is an issue - from the same post i linked to above:
All of this said, a client reconnect/SOOD refresh should not interrupt playback on a zone unless that zone is actively being transferred to the reconnecting client. We’ll share this information with development for additional vetting.
