RS151 not appearing in audio device list despite being on the same network (ref#05P67M)

I can't find rs151 in the audio device even tho they are connected to the same network , and rs151 is roon ready mode.

Can you tell us more about your setup:

  • Which operating system is Roon Core installed on? If it’s on Windows, first try disabling the Windows firewall.
  • Do you use VLANs on your LAN?
  • What are the IP addresses: Roon Core, Rose RS151, Roon Client, etc.?
  • Are the devices connected directly to the router or to a switch?

We have checked a little bit of your analytics data report and can see that your IPs are kind of confused. Local IPs of your devices have same first octet as your public IP.

We can also see that device was discovered but could not connect.

Can you please clarify, did you set any special settings on your router like DMZ or something like that ?
