Ruark R2 Mk3 Radio as Roon Endpoint?

Can my Ruark R2 Mk3 Radio (on my home network) be used as Roon Endpoint? At the moment it can’t be seen in Roon Settings-Audio.

It didn’t look like you can do it directly. If you have an audio input a Raspberry Pi or Chromecast Audio if you can find one will help you.

Thanks. I forgot to add that I can stream successfully to my SONY Soundbase (used for TV audio), which is visible in Settings-Audio even though SONY is not listed as a Roon tested manufacturer.

It must have Chromecast or Airplay then. ‘Soundbase’ is a range of Sony products, all with different features. The Ruark has neither Chromecast or Airplay as far as I can tell from the spec sheet but as stated above, you can use a Line input via a Pi.

I’ve found a workaround. I choose my iPad as my Roon endpoint and then connect to my Ruark radio via Bluetooth. Obviously a reduction in SQ but it’s only the kitchen after all!
