Description of Issue

At my work/friend’s house there is Roon and a Nucleus as core that is linked to a Lyngdorf TDAI3400. It works great, and I love it, which is why I wanted it at home.

But because I don’t have much money, at home I use my MacBook Air M2 as a core (for the time being). and once again, it is fantastic and flawless.

However, when I am at work, I connect to the work core, but the core on my MacBook continues to run, it consumes unnecessary CPU and RAM, and I require it for my work, which involves fairly intensive tasks.

So I was wondering if I could run Roon without launching the core on my MacBook?

No. The Core is the “server” part of the client/server setup.
