Running ARC in a simulator on windows

Has anyone with success tried to run roon ARC in an Android or iOS simulator?

I have just installed BlueStacks and ARC can’t run in it. But Tidal can.
I also wonder if the sound quality will be good enough running in a sim.

I would like to use my work window PC to run ARC. The PC is connected to Aune 90

@Martin_Andersen I moved this to the Tinkering category where other users may be able to provide ideas and suggestions.

Just a few thoughts from my side. Assuming your work computer is running over WiFi or a cabled Ethernet connection, does ARC work on your phone when connected to the corporate WiFi network? If not, the security settings of your corporate network may not alllow for Roon to work, even if other applications do function properly.

Another thought that has come up from time to time. The simulator environment may create a virtual network interface, and Roon Support typically sees issues with these VNIs, especially transversing different subnets.

Thanks @Robert_F, I am just grasping a straw

My only source of music is Tidal and if I am going to use it with ARC as a facade, I want a big screen so I can enjoy all the tasty meta data.

Thats why I am trying to get ARC on my PC.

Be aware that ARC will at this time only use the phone interface in portrait format.

Thanks. Then it will make no sense to run it on a PC
