I am happy to report that all is good so far. Performance is not bad at all. This is not unexpected, as the Celeron J4125 should be faster than a notebook Ivy Bridge i3.
With “Parallelize Sigma-Delta Modulator” enabled, I am getting
- 24-bit / 192 kHz PCM to DSD128 - 5.4x
- DSD64 to DSD128 - 5x
- DSD64 to 16-bit / 44.1 kHz - 9.4x
I am not planning to do additional DSP at this point. REW looks complicated.
