As you can see below I have an album by “Hillary Hahn & Hauschka” appearing twice: both images point to exactly the same album version on Tidal. Although the albums are ranked alphabetically by artist, the first copy appears in between albums from the ‘Higher Intelligence Agency’, so it’s out of place … any idea what the issue could be ?
Try restarting Roon server, and confirm if the issue is cleared. Furthermore, to be clear, please post the album page → versions tab for each instance.
Reboot fixed it, thanks. But something else strange happened: notice how the two red albums by ‘Pete Namlook & The Higher Intelligence agency’ aren’t there anymore. They were under the H of Higher Inelligence and now they are further down under the P of Peter Namlook.
I also regularly have issues after deleting an album it just stays visible in the databse until I reboot. Really annoying to have to reboot so often.
Where are the media files? A NAS or drive on the same machine as Roon server?
Regarding the ‘Pete Namlook & The Higher Intelligence agency’ releases, please share your import settings. However, I would expect the artist to appear under P, but the artist page should have separate links to both individual artists.
But the issue will come back. It is a known bug, documented in many other places in these forums.
