It will not recognize the Samsung 870 QVO while in the Roon, So the only way we could potentially begin to get the song library onto the Roon was to put the Roon internal drive into an eternal enclosure and copy files over from my original hard drive of music that way, but we can’t format the drive unless it’s within the Roon, so we will have the music, but it is outside the unit, so technically it’s broke or we are doing something wrong. and if we can’t get it to recognize the hard drive, one or both will go back for replacement

Are you saying that you connect the drive internally and the drive is not seen in the Nucleus Web UI? If so, double check that the Sata cable hasn’t become loose.
However using it as an external drive is just fine, and in my opinion is preferable for a couple of reasons. Even USB HDDs are faster than is necessary for music playback. If used as an external drive, then you can also use it as a location for database backups.
Once you have the internal drive formatted the only way to copy to it is over the network.

@Rugby makes some excellent points above. With that, we’re not seeing any Nucleus tied to your account currently - so we’re not able to set up diagnostic mode for the device. As an alternative, could you please use the directions found here and send over a set of logs to our File Uploader?
I have sent the files you requested, my frustration level is very high due to the fact that I have spent hundreds of dollars with technical assistance trying to get the Roon to recognize the installed hard drive, it will not, it recognizes the internal hard drive in the Eversolo streamer, while my tech guy is here, there is no one to talk to with Roon, I am not a tech guy…. I am ready to give up on this….help!
The logs you sent over seem to be from your Mac, running Roon. We were hoping you’d be able to send over a set of Roon Server logs from the issue Nucleus, as we’re still not seeing devices tied to your Roon account.

I understand your frustration, are you able to provide more information around the SSD? Did you install it yourself?
If you perform a RoonOS install, do you experience the same issue?
