Glad to hear that you were able to narrow down the issue to the McAFee firewall!

I believe I found the problem. Within Mcafee LifeSafe under Firewall/My Network Connections, My Netgear Wi-Fi router was set to Public instead of Private/Home network. All devices connected to a private home network are excluded from the firewall rules. Once changed to “Home”, everything started to work properly. I have no idea how it could have changed or why the previous version of Roon was not hindered by this.
