I’m looking at getting a dac for around 50-100 pounds. At the moment I’m considering the ODROID C2 with the HiFi shield or the Schiit Modi 3 which I’ve heard is great for the money. Which is better? Also open to other suggestions. Am using a pair of Rogers BBC LS3/5a monitors with a rel sub.
Modi 3 all the way. Then when you have a little more funds get a Vali 2 to go with your Modi.
I have both setups you mentioned and the C2/hifi shield sits in a box.
What is the Modi 3 comparable to? I presume it’s better than PC ASIO drivers but whats it similar to?
