Schiit Modi 3 problems

Hi

i have a problem with roon and my Schiit modi when it changes tracks or i skip i get a message of Audio device in use but its in exclusive mode and no other program is using it this is kind of anoying

if any one has a solution pleas help

Thanks for writing in and sharing your report!

Based on a recent diagnostic report from your Roon Server, we see a new device (NVIDIA High Definition Audio ) is detected right before the error which can cause Roon to lose access to the current device.

Is the device configured in WASAPI Shared mode?

See if you can:

1. Disable unnecessary audio outputs in Windows : Go to Sound Settings > Playback Devices, and disable unused outputs like NVIDIA HDMI audio
2. Restart Roon and try playback again after making the above changes.

If your issues still persist: Test playback with another DAC or endpoint to rule out issues specific to the Schiit Stack or its driver.
