· I have an external drive (Seagate BUP Portable) which holds an extensive music library. It no longer appears on my Roon library list. I have a Nucleus+. I have tried unpluging the Seagate from the Nucleus+ and shutting off the Nucleus+ without correcting the problem. There are 2 USB ports on the Nucleus+, an upper and lower. I have tried both without success. I have read the Roon Nucleus manual and the storage section of the Nucleus User Guide. When I look at the storage section in the Roon settings there is a message: Nucleus>Seagate BUP Portable stating that "The drive is not available. Check the drive or edit the folder if it's been moved." I believe I have checked the drive and do not know how to proceed. The drive had been available and functioning when I set up the Roon system when I first purchased it.

Can you plug this drive into a PC and run a drive check on it?
If it has been “hot” swapped out from the Nucleus it might have some errors that prevents Roon now seeing it.
I had the exact same thing happen to myself after a 'hot" swap.
Few minutes with a Win 11 drive check, reinstalled to Roon ROCK server and Roon could see it again
I followed all your instructions on the portable dirve connection. It did appear on my MacBook pro as a data icon. I ran the first aid link. When that was completed I plugged the protable drive into the Nucleus+. Still no connection. In the meantime when I try to open Roon I get messages that I am no longer able to access the Roon server. The Nucleus+ is turned on and it is connected to my network. Trying to resolve this problem has resulted in no access to Roon.
Thanks for the update! Since youre now having issues connecting to your Nucleus, could you attempt to access the webUI of your Nucleus, and share a screenshot of what you see?

If you’re unable to access the webUI of your Nucleus, could you next plug in a monitor via HDMI to your Nucleus (while still connected to your network) and snap a screenshot of what you see?
