Search Function Lagging or Non-reponsive

Sometimes when I use the search function nothing appears as I’m typing in the Search box or a letter that I typed a second or two ago finally appears. The only way I’ve been able to remedy this problem is by closing the Roon app completely in my iPad and then starting it up again.

Is there some change I need to make in settings on either my iPad or my core (MacBook Air) to correct this, or is it just a Roon quirk?

It’s probably your iPad. I had a similar problem which was cured with a hard reset. Press the home button and the power button simultaneously until the iPad shuts down, then restart it.
