When I connect up via my Android remote, it comes up with 2 cores, both with the same ip address. I do have server and remote on my PC, but I still don’t think it should do this.
Could this be causing occasional connection issues?

Do you have both the RoonServer and Roon running on your Core? I would advise only to use one and not the other at the same time. You can quit out of RoonServer in the bottom right-hand corner of your taskbar, locate the Roon icon -> Exit RoonServer. Hope that helps!
