Description of Issue

I backed up the Roon database. I followed these instructions from spring 2022: Nucleus –info from spring 2022

Stop RoonServer from running in Nucleus’s Web UI

Navigate to your Nucleus’ Database Location

Find the folder that says “RoonServer”

Rename the “RoonServer” folder to “RoonServer_old”

Restart the RoonServer in the WebUI to generate a new Database

On the Roon Remotes, press “Use another Core” and connect to the new database

Restore a backup.
I had trouble finding the Use Another Core option but finally found it.
I have rebooted the Nucleus. I have remapped my Music folder multiple times --even so, I get the error within the Roon software that states, “this drive is not available.” I AM able to listen to a small portion of my music libary, but I sense that is because I purchased them directly from Qobuz. I am unable to listen to tracks stored locally on my Windows 11 C drive.
Interestingly, and disturbingly enough, Roon is NOT listed in Task Manager–not a healthy sign!
I don’t believe I have firewall problems, Dell Support looked at my computer and made this statement.
I would really appreciate CLEAR step by step instructions to Deinstall and Reinstall the entire system.
Thanks for any and all help.

This is Anne, who originally posted this. The problem was that under Advanced Network settings, there was a password requirement to see other networks. I KNOW that this password protection mode had previously been turned off. I suspect a Windows UPDATE turned it on. Once I turned OFF the password protection mode, (and rebooted the Nucleus using http://nucleus.local/ --and REMAPPED my music folder), I had FULL access to my entire library. In otherwords I resolved the problem.
