I’ve been umming and ahhing over a Selekt DSM for a couple of years now, and the latest updates have me intrigued, particularly the inclusion of a 1/4 inch headphone jack on the left-hand side of the new ‘Edition’ version of the Selekt.
With every other HiFi company getting into headphones I was always a bit surprised by Linn’s apparent reluctance, but this could be the start of a change, with the headphone Selekt now becoming a direct competitor of other streaming headphone amps like the dCS Bartok.
Browsing the web I can’t find any user reactions to the headphone out, but I’m popping into my local shop on Friday so will update if they have one in store and let me have a listen.
