I have a Metallica box set which has 6 cd’s. each cd has it own title. I’ve checked the metadata using Music Editor Tag Pro and each album has its own title. I’m not using album 1 of 6 in the data. In iTunes 6 albums are listed the correct way, separated. Roon is grouping everything together and using one album art for all 6 cd’s. Im totally confused on this. I even edited the metadata through Roon using the file info but it does not change anything. What am I over looking?
I took one album which is an EP, 3 tracks. Drop in a folder and Roon picks it up as an EP, correct artwork but lists Disc 1 with 2 tracks, Disc 6 with 9 tracks and Roon states unavailable. How is it finding additional tracks when metadata states there is only 3 tracks. This same EP displays correctly in iTunes! Metadata is all over the place regarding track lists that repeat each other or are crossed reference from another cd
