Sequence of tracks too fast

Since the last update, the sequence of tracks is extremely fast, not even a second’s rest : it feels like all the tracks are one single track. Any idea ?

Thanks

Did you inadvertently enable crossfade?

Where is crossfade ?

3 seconds !

Maybe iIhave to restart the computer

3 second crossfade means the tracks “overlap” each other by three seconds. Last tracks fades out while next track fades in over the top of the last track.
If you want distinct tracks crossfade needs to be 0. (i,e, no overlap, no fade in/out of the tracks)

What @bearFNF said. If you don’t want the tracks to fade into each other, set crossfade time to 0.

However, be aware that certain criteria must be fulfilled for crossfade to work, which means that it’s possible that the crossfade doesn’t always happen. If you didn’t hear a crossfade in the past, despite the same setting of 3, maybe this was the hidden cause.

Thanks to both of you. Have a nice evening.

Hello @KDM ,

@Suedkiez and @bearFNF are correct, it sounds like the crossfade is working as expected. Feel free to turn that off if you prefer to have a break in the playback between tracks. Thanks!
