Server boot up recognition issue causing ROON controller seek problems (ref#8GEK87)

Describe the issue

I have discovered the user/password for linux! And gained access to the music folder on remote server… “BUT!”
neither ROON nor WINSCP (on windows controller laptop) will locate the target music folder until I actually go on the server with K/M+M and browse/nav. to that folder manually! It seems to “wake up” by performing this ritual, but once I remove the K/M+M I won’t be able to perform this wake up action; is there a solution to this conundrum? ROON just says the file is inaccessible, the path won’t show and suggests the target destination is OFFLINE, but it isn’t because it shows up in my router ‘map’!

Describe your network setup

laptop controller/linux server PC/endpoint NUC i5/DAC

it’s almost as if when the boot up sequence has finished, the server becomes dormant and invisible to ROONS monitoring process. That’s why i have to navigate to the music folder to “stir things up” before the server is recognized, but i won’t be able to do that once the PC/server goes headless.

would be good if the server PC could somehow automatically run this task every time the PC boots up (daily)?

deploy a task sequence silently after boot up?

This is what happens after a reboot or after being shut down overnight:
