Description Of Issue
While playing a track, with no interaction from the user, Rock suddenly crashed. It restarted a few seconds later. Music stopped and the app searched for the server until it rebooted. The player also required rebooting before Roon would find it.

In case it is relevant, before the crash, the logs contain hundreds of lines like this:

12/02 18:10:15 Warn: [scd] [Linn Sekrit DS-I] Scd client was unexpectd. Killing it
12/02 18:10:15 Trace: [scd] [Linn Sekrit DS-I] got Scd client 192.168.10.14:51282
The IP address refers to another Linn player, currently idle and not shown on the available players in Roon. That may be another issue. A reboot of the player usually fixes that.

Then the log ends with this:

I believe this has happened before but I have not previously captured details. I have retained the logs in case these are needed.

Hello @anonymouse, I’d like a copy of those logs since you still have them. Could you please use the directions found here and send us over a set of logs using a shared Dropbox link.

Logs sent to you

Hello @anonymouse, and thanks for the logs! I have sent this information to our device team and will return with their feedback!

Hello @anonymouse, has the issue occurred again? Also, are you able to cause the issue to occur? If so, I’d like to pass along some reproduction steps to our QA team so we can try on our side, thanks!

It hasn’t happened again, but then that player is one I use quite rarely. I will have a go and see if it recurs. I thought it should be on your radar anyway, as Roon shouldn’t crash even if the player does something weird
