It’s taking around 10 - 15 seconds between songs when shuffling library, way too long
On the laptop I have updates paused. There were 2 updates waiting. Can this cause the long pause between songs? If not, what is causing it?
Does seem a little better after installing windows and other update?
There were some performance issues for some users recently, and the latest update is supposed to fix that. (And according to feedback it seems to have been successful in that for most affected users).
Therefore, I would recommend that you install the update and see if it solves the problem:
I suppose that’s what Roon support will ask to do anyway before investigating issues in an outdated version that may well be already fixed
