· Greetings. Thanks for the introduction of Nugs. I'm interested in setting up this offering on my system. I have a Rock (intel i7) roon server. Do you have set-up instructions, or suggestions for enabling video?

Tell us about your home network

· My roon server is an intel i7 computer (NUC) that is hardwired to my network. There are a couple netgear switches connected to a Calix GigaSpire Blast gateway (fiber). In addition, I have an Asus wireless router in bridge mode.

I’m just a fellow music lover.

Roon does not support video playback.

To have Nugs videos to play you’ll need their native app on a supported device.

Getting the audio from that supported device into Roon is the complicated and will need additional hardware.

Others may offer ideas.

Thank you for reaching out! We are thrilled to have Nugs on board as well.

To echo Mr.Flibble’s excellent point, Roon is strictly an audio-only platform. We do not support video playback natively, so there are no settings, plugins, or configurations to enable video streaming through your Roon OS (ROCK) server.

The Nugs integration within Roon is designed exclusively for accessing and organizing their massive catalog of high-quality live audio recordings.

If you would like to watch Nugs video concert streams, you will need to use the native Nugs.net app on a supported device, such as an Apple TV, Roku, Smart TV, or web browser.
