Description Of Issue

Is the best way of connecting to this using Airplay or is there an app I can size load on to the device?

One week in, so apologies if it’s a fact question!

Is this device running Android? Do you have any options for Play Store access on this device?

Unfortunately not, it does have pre installed apps, for instance Tidal, but no obvious download site.

According to this article it would appear that the M2X is running on a Linux-based operating system, so installing other apps on it wouldn’t be possible.

As for the Airplay limitation, yes, I would suspect that you are limited to this unless you are able to connect the M2X via USB to the Core and it exposes an audio driver to the Core.
