Should I use a USB2 port or a USB3 port to connect my DAC to Pi 4B?

The title pretty much says it all. I’m new to the Pi scene, I want to create a streamer to use as a Roon end point, and I was assuming that the USB3 port would be the better option. But then I thought, maybe I shouldn’t just assume that…

I can’t tell that it makes any difference at all. I have two RPi4’s and two different DAC’s I use with them.

Makes absolutely no difference.

DAC manual should tell you what it needs. If it (the DAC) is USB2 then it should make no difference.
