I believe the wheels were supposed to be white and a previous owner changed them to slime green metallic.
It stands out for sure.
It’s got some spendy add ons.
The FM carbon fiber and aluminum exhaust is $1309 plus taxes and shipping!
The quick shifter was not standard, nor the rear sets and levers.
Very very impressed with this beast.
My beloved S1000R is sold
Sad to see it go; did 33,000 km (21k miles)
Route Napoleon, Pyrenees, all of the rest of France, Saarland, Ardenne, Wales etc etc
Gone to a really good new owner
Will do some rides together soon
Bought something else?
Er, was better
Well this beast is causing a riot on the MV Augusta FB forums .
It’s a standard USA paint scheme apart from someone painted the wheels and radiator shrouds lime green.
Oh boy, you would think I had stolen their first born.
It’s been nicknamed Kawagusta!
Wheels look to be same colour as the panel on garage in the background.
@offrode has done a paint job on your bike, have you seen it?
Nice ride out this morning to Green Cove Springs which is the seat of Clay County and is the one of the most Northern natural springs in Florida.
Nice pier and against the St. Johns River.
Should really be a decent tourist visitation area…but it isn’t for whatever reasons
Welcome in Belgium !
Enjoy the good weather at this moment.

Thanks!
I love your country - it’s beautiful and interesting
(Some of the roads are in dreadful condition still, no surprise to you I expect, but they’re getting better… Mind you GB roads are at least as bad now)
Not enough coffee, start your day with this…
Spa I would think ? …

Hmmm
My friends have MT-09 and can quick shift, seemingly, like the DSG in the Audi TT I had
My BMW, which, apparently, has ‘one of the best QS in the biz’ is rather underwhelming
It’s sometimes OK on up shifts (but frankly, when you’re at high revs you don’t need the clutch anyway)
On downshifts, it’s mostly rubbish - makes my mechanical sympathy wince
I asked the dealer if mine was broken, they said it’s fine
I don’t use it
My favourite for riding is along the Semois valley (ish);
Rocroi, Revin, Vresse, Corbion, Bouillon, Dohan, Herbeumont
I haven’t made it to Spa, yet, but of course I’ve been to Bruges, Ghent, Brussels, Namur, Dinant etc - even Charleroi!
