A while back I sold my Super Blackbird, just too big and heavy and a reach to the bars that these old bones don’t jive with anymore.

I had been perusing FB marketplace for a bit looking at various oddball non mainstream bikes.
Went to look at a KTM Supeduke yesterday, seat a bit too tall and just a general top heavy feel.

Went to look at something else tonight and, every other bike I own or have owned is now redundant.
This is the most barking outrageous totally soul captivating machine I have ever riden.

Had to get used to the one up five down shift but the quickshifter helps that.
The pops, crackles and snarls from this insane three cylinder rocket is totally over the top but so addictive!
I’m in love!
It’s the bike I have been searching for but didn’t know it…until now!

I’m not sure about the colour scheme, but it does look well balanced and a whole lot of fun!

Not seen a brutale in that colour scheme , maybe it was U.S.A. specific, quite like it .

I believe the wheels were supposed to be white and a previous owner changed them to slime green metallic.
It stands out for sure.

It’s got some spendy add ons.
The FM carbon fiber and aluminum exhaust is $1309 plus taxes and shipping!
The quick shifter was not standard, nor the rear sets and levers.

Very very impressed with this beast.

My beloved S1000R is sold
Sad to see it go; did 33,000 km (21k miles)
Route Napoleon, Pyrenees, all of the rest of France, Saarland, Ardenne, Wales etc etc

Gone to a really good new owner
Will do some rides together soon

Bought something else?

Yes, I bought the newer one last year
but I think the V1 is, overall, better for me

Er, was better :grinning:

Well this beast is causing a riot on the MV Augusta FB forums :joy:.

It’s a standard USA paint scheme apart from someone painted the wheels and radiator shrouds lime green.
Oh boy, you would think I had stolen their first born.

It’s been nicknamed Kawagusta!:sunglasses:

Wheels look to be same colour as the panel on garage in the background.

@offrode has done a paint job on your bike, have you seen it?
