Oh yes…had to buy a set for the Z900RS as well…pretty happy at $360 shipped.

I fancy trying a set of those, I used Metz and Continental in the 90s and loved them

I hated the Pirelli Corsa 4 (?) I had before the S23s I bought last year, my chicken strips were more like turkey or ostrich!

Switching to the Bridgestones was a joy, hence the repeat purchase

Before the Ps, I had Michelin Power 5s - they were excellent too

A lot of the MT09’s have been suffering with cracked frames, hopefully the 10 doesn’t have the same problem.

Rode mine for 8 years without such problem, but maybe because I didn’t constantly wheelie it like a hooligan …

Right!
The way I ride nowadays being an old fart I don’t think there’s any danger of self inflicted damage.

Terrific ride from Riom to Brive-la-Gaillarde, via Murol, into Cantal region, Le Claux, Salers, Argentat etc. fantastic roads and scenery

The D921 heading West into Brive is a joy; perfect road condition, endless sweeping bends
Hardly a car on it (mid afternoon)

All day (6 hours riding) very little traffic, mostly excellent quality roads (even the single track through the cattle fields), not one camera or police car. Always respect local limits, make progress where appropriate :+1:

Yet another terrific road section, Noyon to Serres, in an overall great days riding

Got another bike incoming next week, had a ride and called into a shop that I hadn’t been to before and saw something that I couldn’t resist. So I didn’t. :+1:

What a tease!

Had to wait at road works, the timer showed I had enough to get off and take some photos

Got the couple in the van to wave for the photo

Such fun

Picked this up this morning, and took quite an indirect route home, stupidly speedy.. (CBR1000RR SP)
Giggling to myself on several occasions when throttle was opened up.
Weather is a bit too warm , 34c

The hills off in the distance are Malvern hills.

The new toy is revealed!
Nice one!

Removing the rear sets from the MV and fitting standard pegs and lever layout has given it a new lease of life for these old bones.
Out for a short spin this morning but already 90f here at 10am.

A bit cooler today 30c or 86f was 34c or 93f yesterday.
Tomorrow it is supposed to drop a bit cooler about 24c or 78f which will be more comfortable as it is so humid in U.K.
Makes a change for you to get the rain and not me :motorcycle::cloud_with_rain:

You know I never really ever remember humidity there?
Has it gotten to be something since 2000?
I mostly remember layering up…lol
