Actually there is another Meridian Trifield system in my Theater. It is mostly used for movies though.

Jealous!! Ug…I’m trying hard to hear some Sasha Daw’s. I have Pass in my main system. Cheer’s to you. Great system.

The Daw’s are a cut above anything before. Daryl has completely upped the game at Wilson since taking over. Listening to speakers he did vs those of his dad make it clear they have/had different goals in mind. I’ve found everyone likes Daryl’s voicing more to include those who review such gear, sell it, and those I’ve come to know along the way of being at Wilson events. I’ve heard the Daw’s and they were neck and neck with the Alexia 2. Pass and Daw’s are a good combo. Just make sure whatever amp you use with them has very low output impedance, otherwise you’ll never get the bass response out of them that they can produce. Also, as with all things Wilson, you may want to make sure that there’s not a DAW v2 coming out in the next 4-5 months or you may be kicking yourself. Wilson likes to refresh their lines about every 3-4 years, sometimes less. Good luck with your Daw’s Mark.

Thanks!

I’ve had to remove the back panel behind the amp/s and add metal support to the shelf the RD-100 sits on to stiffen it up a bit. Still kept the back panel behind the door which houses the roonserver and its PSU, plus the WiFi router/switch. Luckily all the incoming services are behind the media unit.

Hi Gary, love the wall colour! Would you happen to know what paint it is?

Lockdown was not without its joys, as shown here. Repurposed and sounding not too refined, just as it should be:

Trout grey Cloverdale paint here in Canada

On Christmas Eve, one of my brothers came over with his Emotiva XPA DR-2 amp for me to try out in my system for a while, being able to directly compare it to my Emotiva XPA-2 Gen 2. He just purchased an integrated tube amp and also just ordered a Doge Audio tube preamp that he’s waiting on to be built. So in the meantime, he’s letting me run the DR-2 in my system. Plus this is a comparison I wanted to do anyway, just for fun.

And with either amp in the system, my kitties still enjoy hanging out in here chilling to old jazz, classical and old rock. Well, any music really. LOL

nice system. i spy a Pi/Flirc. i continue to hope Schiit will do something around the Pi, with upgraded PS and Unison USB…a SchiitPi, as it were.

for now, i have a similar set up, with iFi USB decrappifier and PS, and it sounds pretty good.

I think it’s heart warming, the way three people (or families?) in a block of flats can co-operate with their a/v. If only there was more of this in the world ! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
