My Ellipse replaced a Mu-so QB 2. It’s been a while since I’ve heard a Zeppelin (owned one about 5 years ago).
The Ellipse has a ‘just right’ kind of feeling (nothing particularly obnoxious) and a criminally wide sound stage.

Latest zone - the man cave / workshop. I had a small gap above tool cabinet, figured I’d build a two-way speaker; only wanted mono so it wasn’t listening-position sensitive. Then figured I may as well use Roon eq to combine stereo signal to mono, then low-pass to left amp channel and on to midrange; high-pass to other amp channel and tweeter. No crossover required; maximised use of a spare Nobsound class-D amp. Built cabinet out of MDF, added tweeter and 5” midrange from Jaycar.com.au
Sounds quite reasonable, given the cost.
Here is my setup:
Panasonic OLED 65"
KEF R5
ROTEL A14MKII
Mac mini M1
ATLAS Equator Achromatic Z cables
It’s very transparent and I like this.
That looks like a massive cup and remote sitting on the floor ![]()
Table to the side for critical listening, I’d say
I’ve been Zu curious for a while. Just managed to acquire a second hand pair of DW II’s. Thought I’d share. Rest of my setup is unchanged - Rega P6, PS Audio DirectStream Mark 1 DAC, Rogue Audio Sphinx V3, Denon Cassette deck, RP running Ropieee. So far so good. Mid range is definitely impressive.
Some recent changes such as a couple of Topping boxes (A70 Pro, D70 Pro Sabre, B200). Still the same Buchardt S400 with the Signature Edition crossovers, plus the PSB subseries 450. DCA Aeon2 Noire.
Enjoying all the amazing stereo and AV room setups here. Anyone else rocking a stereo Devialet Phantom setup? Would love to see your space!
Here’s mine:
Cheers.

Interesting room, is it a former factory?
A friend of mine has his stereo in a factory unit; he has a chesterfield, beer fridge and humidor in there as well
Being industrial, he can listen as loud as he likes (like concert LOUD) and if he stays late, he says the sofa is very comfortable!
I know the room from the Devialet Community ![]()

NO, it’s a loft.
The space is pretty bing but managing sound waves has been a nightmare ![]()
All is good now.
Cool space! The blinds look like they could be a pain. ![]()
Your room treatment reminds me again of a concept I had a while back. Essentially, I believe that you don’t really have to treat the whole room as long as you have the area around your ears covered. Anything else going on in the room shouldn’t be an issue unless it gets around your treatment and still gets to your ears.
Really cool room.
That’s correct.
You create a kind of “acoustic bubble”. The big advantage is that you don’t have any bounce effect.
Furthermore it benefits to the entire space, even though the real hi-fi treatment is limited to the treated area.
I’m curious to know what you mean by ‘whole room’ bearing in mind this (great) space has ‘front’ wall, side walls and ceiling treatments using (I’m assuming) abfusers that measure ~3-4m2 each, plus there’s clearly enough space behind to mean any back wall reflection is probably not important
