Shuffle/Repeat Highlight Issue in ARC on CarPlay (ref#37HYVA)

When playing music in ARC with Carplay. Iphone 15 pro in a subaru outback 2022 with the large screen the shuffle/repeat button does not highlight when selected

Could you kindly provide a screenshot of the issue, along with the device model and firmware version you are currently using? This information will help us investigate further.

I am using an IPhone 15 pro with latest iOS 18.5
I have had this issue for years through multiple updates of both Roon Arc and IOS.
Multiple reinstall of arc also. I have also done the updates to my Denso system in the car.

After you select one of the playback options, and check the queue screen, is the function applied even though the feature doesn’t remain selected/highlighted?

Or, are you seeing a complete failure of triggering across the board?

The function works as expected but the button is not highlighted when turned on. Same for repeat which works but will not show/highlight

This has never worked for me for at least a year.
All devices are always kept up to date.
